Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has joked that Russian forces are now a "supplier of equipment for our army" as he claimed their troops are fleeing the battlefield and leaving equipment behind. In a video address on Tuesday morning (March 15) he appealed directly to soldiers in the invading Russian army to surrender themselves as a final "chance to live".
Speaking directly to the camera in a casual khaki-coloured hoodie and t-shirt, he said: “Their soldiers know it. Their officers understand it.

They couldn’t imagine it in a nightmare.” It comes after yet another video of a Ukrainian tractor driver towing a Russian military vehicle went viral online today.
