West Ham United owner David Gold has made an awkward social media blunder after he used a picture of the wrong player in a message on Twitter.Gold had tweeted his congratulations to Hammers defender Issa Diop on making his 100th appearance for the club but included a picture of a different player.Instead of Diop, a picture of former West Ham winger Xande Silva was attached, with Gold quickly deleting the tweet once his error was pointed out.He corrected his mistake as he re-uploaded his congratulatory message and also joked that he needed to get his eyesight tested.In his original tweet, Gold wrote: “Issa Diop was delighted to mark his 100th appearance for West Ham United with another fantastic performance in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup fourth.
