Vandals have left a trail of destruction after trashing 10 vehicles in a village. Tyres have been slashed, windows smashed and paintwork keyed - with one of the damaged cars now having 'f*k u' etched on the side.

One vehicle has 'Bill' scrawled on the bonnet, as police look for clues for who is responsible. The wrecking spree is believed to have taken place between 10pm and midnight on Saturday (April 23) in Silverdale, North Staffordshire.

Incidents were reported by neighbours in Mill Street, High Street, Ford Street and Daleian Court, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.

Lauren Burgess, whose brother's car was one of those damaged, spoke out about the mess on social media.
