Val Russell to stand down as CEO of Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce

Val Russell is to stand down as CEO of Ayrshire's Chamber of Commerce this summer.It follows almost 23 years of service, 11 of which were spent at the helm of the organisation.During her tenure, the chamber has risen to become third-largest in Scotland, with Val's input hailed as "instrumental" in the growth of business projects across the region.Appointment of a successor will commence in the coming weeks, with Ms Russell staying on to shadow in a part-time capacity.She said: "I have had an amazing tenure at Ayrshire Chamber.

I am proud to be leaving a strong and vibrant chamber and a hard-working dedicated team."I have had the honour of working with and learning from some amazing presidents and board members.
