The Met Office has upgraded a heat-health warning to level three for some parts of the UK. The amber warning advises Brits to look out for others, especially older people, young children and babies and those with underlying health conditions as temperatures rocket to the low-30s.

It is in place from 9am on Wednesday until 9pm on Friday. The level three warning covers the West Midlands and East Midlands, with the rest of England on a level two alert.
