Warnings for rain run from 6am on Sunday until 3pm on Monday while gusts of up to 50mph are expected in exposed places in the northwest.Heavy rain in the north is expected to persist through the night, with strong westerly winds forming into Monday.The unsettled spell will see an end to the sweltering June heatwave as we head into July.While the nation baked under the hot sun this week with widespread highs over 30C, temperatures on Sunday will reach a maximum of 22C in London.
