Britain is experiencing a chilly cold snap at the moment, but temperatures are forecast to skyrocket back up in the coming days.
After a record-breaking April that saw much of the UK bathed in sunshine and warm weather, this week has seen a return to cooler weather.
High pressure is currently sitting to the west of the British Isles, with isobars from the Arctics bringing cool air, but the pressure is now moving into the south of England to heat up the country.
While the north will keep getting colder today with rain and hill snow clearing to showers, southern areas can expect a sunny Tuesday with less wind than the last few days.
