Arsenal fans fume as Frank Lampard signs more players than them in 10 hours
Arsenal fans have been left fuming at their management after Frank Lampard signed more players than the Gunners all transfer window.Lampard, who was unveiled as Everton's new boss at 1:30pm, managed to complete two new signings before the 11pm deadline.Donny van de Beek was the first to join when he made the switch to Merseyside from Manchester United on loan. And he was quickly joined by Dele Alli, who has finally left Tottenham Hotspur after a disappointing past couple of years.Lampard's swiftness, as well as Mikel Arteta's lack of activity, has left Arsenal fans fuming at their lack of additions in January. One fan tweeted: "Lampard hasn't even been Everton manager [for a day] and he's signed two players."Arsenal had a month and couldn't find one CM and one striker, I'm actually fuming at the state of this window."A second added: "So Frank Lampard has had the job for a couple of hours and is on the brink of getting 2 players in….""Everton signed Lampard yesterday and he still managed to get two quality signings in, on the other hand, there is the fraud Arteta who failed to sign someone in a whole month," a third fumed. Can Arsenal still finish in the top four? Let us know in the comments section Arsenal did make one signing in the January window, and on Transfer Deadline Day the Gunners confirmed the signing of Auston Trusty from the Colorado Rapids. However, the American will remain on loan in the MLS, and he won't join his new team-mates until the summer.

Everton considering late transfer for Dele Alli to reignite Tottenham star's career
Everton are considering a late swoop for Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli. The Toffees would need to sign the former MK Dons star on a permanent deal. That is because they are on the verge of completing a loan move for Donny van de Beek from Manchester United. With Anwar El Ghazi already on loan at the club, they have reached their maximum of two domestic loans in a season. So negotiations would need to be swift this evening to secure a permanent move for Alli.New boss Frank Lampard is a fan of the Tottenham player who has fallen out of favour at the club.Alli, 25, has made just 10 Premier League appearances this season for Spurs. His form has nosedived in recent years and there is a feeling he needs a move away to reignite his career.Alli was a star at the World Cup in 2018 but he has not played for England since June 2019 because of his form.He is keen to leave Spurs and find regular first-team football. But with the clock ticking, it will be a difficult deal for Everton to get over the line.Van De Beek, 24, has completed his medical at Finch Farm today and is finalising his move from United.Everton have agreed to pay his £100,000-a-week wages in full but there will be no option to make the deal permanent in the summer. The Toffees have swooped when it looked like Crystal Palace were set to sign the out-of-form Dutchman from United.Van De Beek has struggled for chances at Old Trafford since his 2020 move from Ajax and interim boss Ralf Rangnick green lit a loan move late last week. The midfielder wanted to join Everton in the summer but the move was blocked by United. But this time he has got his preferred move and will hope to impress in the Premier League in the coming months.
