Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli is the latest star to move to protect his name. Alli, 24, has just trademarked a new double-D design to pave the way for creating his own commercial imprint.
He is already worth £8million and has his own hats firm Leo Fortis, which means “Brave Lion” in Latin. Now he has filed documents with the Intellectual Property Office to use a Dele D design on dozens of items from clothes to toys.
