Temperatures will hit 23C today which will be followed by a scorching 10-day heatwave. London is set to enjoy the highest of the temperatures, while Scotland will reach highs of 18C in Dumfries and Wales will see 19C in Cardiff.Things will remain dry in the south but northern parts of the country can expect heavy showers.Temperatures will drop and will feel cool from Monday which will see highs of 18C in Kent and London.It comes after Friday was the UK's third hottest day ever with scorching temperatures hitting 37.8C in London.But forecasters now predict Britain is heading for a heatwave thanks to an 'African heat flare' and we will see those temperatures again.A 700-mile-wide “African heat flare” will bring temperatures up to 35C by next.
