Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

mirror.co.ukBrits are set to be hit with a weekend of heavy showers and strong gales as temperatures plummet. The mercury is set to drop to 16C in London and the South East today, thanks to an "unseasonably" deep low-pressure system moving in from Scandinavia.
Wales and Northern Ireland are forecast to see highs of 15C while the west of Scotland will be reasonably warm, with highs of 19C.
Downpours, thunderstorms and winds of up to 38mph are also being forecast by the Met Office. The rain is set to move southwards over England and Wales throughout the day, with Northern Ireland and northern Scotland due to see sporadic showers.
