Brits are set to face heavy rain and further fall in temperature and lows of 7C could be expected in some parts of the UK in a weekend washout.
Over the last month, Britons have been able to enjoy hot weather with the mercury reaching 29C – this week has brought a stark contrast dropping to 15C.
Despite lockdown measures relaxing as Prime Minister Boris Johnson permits meeting bubbles of six outdoors, the weather may not be so friendly.
Net Weather forecaster Paul Michaelwaite has predicted today will see "sunny spells" across most parts. He warned a low-pressure system will bring "sharp showers" and gales from the Scandanavian direction of the North Sea.
