pub in Manchester closed in 2011 but local legend still holds firm with the boozer being the place to go for some of the harshest nights out.Billy Greens pub has since been demolished but the legendary hard man pub lives on, featuring in an episode of the Sky 3 show 'The Toughest Pubs in Britain'.An episode on the Collyhurst-based venue explored the tough image of the pub and audiences were left hearing horrifying tales from hardened punters.The pub was named after renowned local boxer Billy Green, with the pub closed in 2011, abandoned, burned out and eventually bulldozed into a patch of wasteland.Narration for the episode introduced Billy Greens to audiences, saying: "Here we are again in the traditional British boozer; a local pub for local people.

A centre for the community. A place to meet old friends and mix with like minded souls - fat chance!"Let’s continue our journey with a trip to sunny Manchester, and if you dare, to the notorious Collyhurst estate." A series of interviews with punters followed, with horror stories passed off as nothing out of the ordinary, Manchester News reports.

One bloke said: "I call it Beirut, if you’ve not got a car burnt out outside your house in the morning you’ve had a good night."The drinker who had a pair of sunglasses perched on his head added: "We’ve been in jail all our lives, so f*****g what, you win some you lose some.

I’ve been stabbed eight times mate, eight times and survived."He wasn't the only bloke to have horror stories of their time in Billy Greens, with one recalling the time a sheep was brought into the bar and a crossbow soon followed.They said: "The funniest thing I saw in this pub here was a mate of mine, coming back from United and Leeds away.
