Missing man last seen outside Scots hospital as cops launch urgent search

A search operation is underway to trace a man who vanished from a Scots hospital. Colin Meldrum was last seen on CCTV at 11.15am on Saturday April 30 outside the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh.Police say the 48-year-old has connections to the capital's Saughton area.He is described as 6ft 1in and of a medium build.At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a light blue polo shirt, dark blue jeans and dark blue trainers.

He also wears a distinctive gold ring with criss-cross detail.
