Tyson Fury's 2022 is focused on one thing; a heavyweight unification bout - and there's growing signs he could get that opportunity sooner than anybody anticipated.
Plans for the bout were scuppered last year when an American court ruled Fury must honour his rematch clause with Deontay Wilder, which saw an agreed bout with Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia fall apart.
The hope was that both fighters would see off their next opponents to clear the way for a unification fight and Fury did his part with a stunning victory against Wilder in Las Vegas.
However, AJ put in an awful showing against Oleksandr Usyk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September and lost his three belts - knocking back a unification bout further into the horizon.
