Frank Warren has suggested Anthony Joshua will be made an offer to step aside and allow Tyson Fury to face Oleksandr Usyk in a unification bout.
The former world heavyweight champion is set to take on the Ukrainian in a rematch in March or April as he looks to win back his titles, having lost them following his defeat back in September.
Usyk’s victory in London threw a major spanner in the works, with Fury having eyed up an all-British unification bout with Joshua ahead of beating Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight in Las Vegas.
Instead, the Gypsy King may have to wait for his chance to complete the set of heavyweight belts, with Usyk and Joshua set to meet again in the spring.
