Clusters of coronavirus cases have occurred at two Greater Manchester fire stations. In total eight firefighters have tested positive at Blackley and Whitefield stations.
Testing was brought in for the region's firefighters in mid April after 50 were self isolating due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As many as 62 had been in isolation before the Easter weekend. In a bid to get more frontline crews back to work, those in self isolation are being sent to a testing station at Manchester Airport.
The move came after the Fire Brigades Union said revealed that nearly 3,000 fire and rescue staff across the UK were in isolation.
