The body of a missing woman has been founded in a wooded area, police have confirmed.A member of the public alerted police after discovering the body at roughly 8.35pm on Monday, June 19.
Formal identification confirmed it is that of missing Aimee Williams, who vanished from Scunthorpe on Saturday, June 17.The 33-year-old's disappearance prompted a huge search effort, with Humberside Police scouring local areas with dog units, trawled through CCTV and making house to house enquiries.
Following the discovery of her body, a large cordon was set up around the site, Grimsby Live reports.Authorities say her death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the Coroner.
