A Conservative councillor has been strongly criticised after sending a "totally unacceptable" tweet. Gareth Baines gave up his position as a Welsh Conservative association chairman following the "unsavoury" message about people waiting in accident and emergency units.
He said that many parents were taking their children to hospital just so that they could gain sympathetic likes on Facebook, the Daily Post reported.
