Cornwall has been named Brits' top destination of choice for a UK holiday this summer, according to a new study. The research, commissioned by Holidaycottages.co.uk, found that nearly half of Brits who are planning a summer staycation are looking to head to Cornwall.
It's not hugely surprising, considering the coastal county has been a firm favourite with holidaymakers for decades thanks to its picturesque landscapes, golden sandy beaches, brilliant hotels and charming towns.
Meanwhile, the Cornish town of St Ives has already been named one of the world's top emerging holiday destinations for 2021 according to TripAdvisor.
