Three divers rescued after being found clinging to lobster pot buoy near Scottish Borders

Borders gully. Coastguards were alerted at around 2.16pm this afternoon after the three divers came into difficulty in Eyemouth.

The incident occurred near the Greenends Gully area and crews from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution were paged to attend.

They were joined by Scottish Ambulance Service.Greenends Gully is a popular destination for divers.Two divers suffered injuries with one being treated by paramedics after the rescue.
