The Manchester Evening News asked shoppers at Asda in Rochdale how petrol panic-buying has affected them. The industry-wide shortage of lorry drivers forced scores of forecourts to shut last week.
It led to long queues at petrol stations across Greater Manchester- despite repeated calls for motorists not to panic-buy fuel.
But from Monday, almost 200 military personnel will start delivering fuel to petrol stations across the country to help relieve the situation.
