A Tesco cleaner was horrified to discover a man's dead body inside a supermarket toilet after he died from taking a cocktail of drink and drugs.
Both a cleaner and shop manager had to break the disabled door down in the toilets of the Tesco store, in Staffordshire, on November 6, after concerns were raised about a man not emerging for five hours.
CCTV footage showed that 43-year-old Leighton Griffin had gone into the disabled toilets at the Cannock store at 10.08am but his body was not discovered by a cleaner until just after 3pm.
An inquest found that Leighton's death was 'drug-related' with alcohol, diazepam, pregabalin, cocaine, morphine and heroin all found in his system.
