Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke has revealed he "misses being a dancer" on the BBC One series after being promoted to the judging panel.The ballroom dancer, 55, appeared on Monday's episode (June 13) of Good Morning Britain where he confirmed to hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley that he missed dancing on the show.Interviewing Anton live on the programme, Susanna said: "You're not dancing on the show anymore.
It's all behind the desk."Of his promotion to a regular Strictly Come Dancing judge, Anton replied: "I'm thrilled. "At least I get to make the final every year."I'm loving being a judge but I am missing the dancing a bit."Anton later confirmed that he was Bruno Toniolo's "full time replacement" on the programme.He stepped in for Bruno, who was absent due to filming commitments in the US, during last year's show.After impressing on the 2021 Strictly judging panel, Anton was confirmed to be returning as a 2022 Strictly Come Dancing judge last month.Speaking previously about rejoining the panel, Anton said: "Woohooo!
