The presenter headed for an interview on his former TV rival after leaving BBC Breakfast last month. His appearance on the ITV news programme to chat to Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley comes ahead of starting his new role on Channel 5 today (Monday).
Dan is the new host of Channel 5's revamped 5 News as he replaces Sian Williams. He was first seen alongside new co-presenter Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije last week in a first-look at his new role.
