Manchester United's plans to announce the signings of Frenkie de Jong and Tyrell Malacia could be slightly delayed due to the pair still being away on holiday.The Red Devils' lengthy pursuit of Barcelona's De Jong looks to finally be coming to a close after the two parties agreed on a deal in the region of £56million, plus add-ons, for the Dutch midfielder.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Erik ten Hag has been granted a second transfer wish as United have also reached an agreement over Feyenoord full-back Malacia.Despite French club Lyon already having a deal in place to sign the 22-year-old left-back, United are understood to have hijacked the deal, agreeing on a fee of around £13m.
