Former Bake Off winner John Whaite has confessed that he almost succumbed to the 'dreaded' Strictly curse during his stint on the popular BBC dancing show. Strictly Come Dancing celeb John, 34, revealed he 'fell in love' with his dancing partner Johannes Radebe when they danced together in 2021.Their chemistry on the dancefloor impressed viewers and the pair, who were the first same-sex couple on the BBC ballroom show, finished in second place after Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice. But it seems their chemistry off the dancefloor also continued as John revealed he fell in love with Johannes during the competition - despite the fact he was in a long term relationship with his now fiancé, Paul Atkins.
