Snow forecast maps reveal exact time flurries will fall this week in -3C icy plunge

Winter isn't over yet. As bookies slash odds on this February being the coldest on record new weather charts have shown the areas of the UK that will see snowfall as early as this week.

According to WX Charts, the first signs of snow this week will fall in Northern Scotland near Inverness on February 3 at around 6pm.

Parts of Northern Ireland will also see a smattering of the white stuff as temperatures plunge to around -3C. By the next morning at 6am, the snow will have moved south into northwest England hitting places like Carlisle.Even if your area isn't set to be hit by the snow it looks like a fairly gloomy week ahead for the country according to the Met Office.

The forecaster predicts that the northeast will see showers and winds tonight before the rain moves down the country. Are you hoping the snow will fall where you are this week?
