snow, rain and sub-zero temperatures is set to engulf the UK one day next week, according to advanced weather modelling maps.
Some parts of the country are bracing for 10 or more inches of the white stuff, and temperatures dipping as low as -10C for many means it's once again time to fish out the big winter weather coats.
Luckily, Brits have a few days to prepare for the Arctic conditions, with the storm set to move in from the west next Sunday (February 20) and continuing into the following week.
According to forecaster WX Charts, almost all the of the country from south to north is expecting flurries of snow.The Met Office also write in their long range weather forecast for February 16 to 25 that conditions will be "rather cold" and "wintry" as "cold spells could bring some brief periods of snow".As per usual, according to WX Charts, the most afflicted region will be Scotland, where dumpings will lead to 10 or more inches settling in the Highlands on the Sunday.
