Sky News presenter hilariously mispronounced Conservative MP Jeremy Hunt's name on live TV, and the clip has now gone viral.Sophy Ridge was discussing Hunt as a possible successor to Prime Minister Boris Johnson in light of this evening's confidence vote and accidentally dropped a c-bomb.

Ridge said: "[There are] two figures who are significant, Jeremy C*nt because he's a potential leadership candidate..."After the swear, Ridge continued presenting the programme as if nothing had happened.

The clip has since been shared by several accounts on Twitter, with many seeing the funny side of the on-air gaffe. Broadcaster Scott Ryan wrote: "Oh GOD Sky News just said 'Jeremy C**t' and the presenter didn’t even notice."Someone else wrote "can’t fault the subtitles", sharing a still from the show with "c**t" subtitled in full at the bottom.

Another person said: "I was watching and thought she said it but wasn't sure. She really emphasized it too!"Referring to Cabinet Minister Nadine Dorries criticising Hunt earlier today for saying he would be "voting for change", a fourth Twitter user joked: "Nadine thinks it, but Sophy actually said it!"A fifth person said: "Hahah that’s FULL blown c-bomb too.
