Covid, we had friends to stay almost every weekend, or come over for food in the garden – even when it’s freezing cold. We’d don lots of layers and thermals, make a big stew with lamb from a nearby farmer and serve it with a gallon of wine.I’m introducing the lad to classic movies from my childhood, so we let him stay up and watch half an hour of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
