Juventus president Agnelli is reportedly set to outline fresh plans at a sports summit, detailing how instead of having enduring members, there will be a domestic league qualification, similar to how the Champions League works. The Super League initiative still lives on in the minds of Juventus, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, despite the six English clubs who were a part of the project last time having apologised for their involvement and accepting fines from the Premier League.According to The Telegraph, it is hoped the fresh model will mean that cities such as Luxembourg and Dublin will be able to eventually forge their own competitive clubs.Furthermore, it is thought attacks will be made to the current model of the Champions League and its quality of football, the so-called failure of UEFA financial fair play regulations and the advantages of state-owned clubs such as Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.Do you think this new proposal will succeed?
