A woman who experienced two miscarriages is on a mission to spread awareness of baby loss and ensure others know ‘you’re not alone’.
Amy McDougall, from Ayr, has miscarried twice — one as recently as last month — and is bravely sharing her story to break down barriers about a topic often left unspoken about.The 27-year-old fitness coach will run or walk 5k every day for the week of Baby Loss Awareness Week (October 9 to 15) to raise funds for the national charity Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS) as part of their Ribbon Run.Amy first miscarried in 2019 while on holiday in London, and found out she was pregnant in August this year but sadly lost the baby on September 1.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all
