'My soul left me' – Hollyoaks' Kirsty-Leigh Porter on surviving devastating loss of unborn daughter

When Hollyoaks actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter held baby Nala Rai in her arms for the first time, she was overwhelmed with relief, joy and inescapable sadness. Nala, now three, was a rainbow baby, born two years after Kirsty-Leigh lost her first daughter Penny-Leigh, who died when she was 29 weeks and three days pregnant.The Hollyoaks star travelled to hospital alone for a check-up after feeling reduced movements in December 2018. Doctors scanned her bump but were unable to find a heartbeat and Kirsty-Leigh was told her much-loved and longed-for baby had died.

Brighton confirm Roberto De Zerbi as new manager after Graham Potter exit
Brighton have confirmed Roberto De Zerbi as new manager on a four-year contract subject to a work permit following Graham Potter's move to Chelsea earlier this month.The club state that the 42-year-old agreed terms with the club on Sunday afternoon having met with Tony Bloom, Paul Barber and David Weir in London to discuss the role.Chairman Tony Bloom said: "I am absolutely thrilled Roberto has agreed to become our new head coach. ‘The Full Monty’ cast reunite for new TV series reboot
The Full Monty is set to get a new TV reboot on Disney+, with the film’s original cast returning for the series.The original hit film was released in 1997, and follows a group of unemployed men in Sheffield who start a striptease act to raise money.Disney has now confirmed that the new eight-episode limited series will catch up with the group 25 years later, bringing back stars Robert Carlyle (Gaz), Mark Addy (Dave), Lesley Sharp (Jean), Hugo Speer (Guy), Paul Barber (Horse), Steve Huison (Lomper), Wim Snape (Nathan) and Tom Wilkinson (Gerald).While specific plot details have not yet been revealed, the show will see the group “navigate the post-industrial city of Sheffield and society’s crumbling healthcare, education and employment sectors.“The series will explore the brighter, sillier and more humane way forward where communal effort can still triumph over adversity,” the synopsis adds.The series will also bring in the character’s children and grandchildren, with original screenwriter Simon Beaufoy overseeing proceedings.“We’re chuffed to bits to get all the Monty Men back together again – now with a chaotic entourage of children, grandchildren, pets and assorted hangers-on – to see what life in Sheffield is like twenty-five years on,” he said.The Full Monty has just begun production in Sheffield and Manchester, and will stream on Disney+ in the U.K. and globally, and Hulu in the U.S..

The Full Monty are reuniting to take their clothes off again in a new spin off TV series.Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy and Hugo Speer are coming back for some more striptease antics 25 years after the original.The award winning film centred on a group of unemployed former steelworkers in Sheffield who get together to try to make money by becoming a Chippendale-style act.Now a new eight-part sequel for telly is being made by Disney +.Bosses say the TV show will catch up with our favourite characters from the 1997 flick as they “navigate the post-industrial city of Sheffield and society’s crumbling healthcare, education and employment sectors”.But they promise plenty of laughs and silliness along the way and tease that the stripper gang may need to come back together again to “triumph over adversity”.The cast will feature some familiar faces reprising their old characters including Robert Carlyle (Gaz), Mark Addy (Dave), Lesley Sharp (Jean), Hugo Speer (Guy), Paul Barber (Horse), Steve Huison (Lomper), Wim Snape (Nathan) and Tom Wilkinson (Gerald).The new TV version will also introduce a whole new cast of children and grandchildren of the returning characters.Writer and creator Simon Beaufoy commented: “We’re chuffed to bits to get all the Monty Men back together again – now with a chaotic entourage of children, grandchildren, pets and assorted hangers-on – to see what life in Sheffield is like twenty-five years on.”And Disney content chief Lee Mason added: “Twenty-five years ago Simon introduced us to a group of funny, fearless and resilient unemployed working-class men from Sheffield and the world fell in love with them.“We’re delighted to reunite the original cast for this brand-new series on Disney+ to catch up with these
