Eva Mottley appeared in Only Fools and Horses and was seemingly set to join the cast of regulars in the BBC sitcom. The 31-year-old actress was introduced to the comedy in an episode in which Denzil (played by Paul Barber) calls Del Boy (David Jason), Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst) and Grandad (Buster Merryfield) to paint his flat.
During 'Who's a Pretty Boy?', Eva played Corinne, who was Denzil's wife at the time and she took no prisoners, with a fiery tongue and a confrontational stance.
The character was not over enamoured with the Trotters arriving to do the painting and decorating, saying about Del: "What the hell is he doing in my home." In the episode, Del famously replaces Corinne's already dead canary with one they buy from a pet
