A Scot accused of harassing his ex partner has had his trial postponed so he can attend a wedding. Alan Russell's trial was rescheduled after a sheriff was handed a copy of the wedding invitation.
The 40-year-old was due to be at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday of next week, however the case has been continued until December.
Russell denies breaking bail conditions by hounding his former partner, Katie Reid.The charge states he was banned from approaching, contacting or communicating with her at the time.
He was placed on bail conditions regarding her in March this year, over a Perth Sheriff Court case. Prosecutors allege he texted her, tried to telephone her and sent her messages on WhatsApp on a number of occasions.
