Nine people have been injured after a double-decker bus ploughed into a low bridge in Rochdale this afternoon. At least one of those hurt is seriously injured.
Pictures from the scene show a double decker bus with its roof ripped off under a bridge, reports the Manchester Evening News.
All those injured had been on board the double-decker. A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Station Road at 2.11pm. "We've attended with three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an advanced paramedic. "There are nine patients involved altogether. "It's a collision involving a bus and a bridge.
