Darren Lynn Bousman has a deep connection to the ‘Saw‘ franchise. After all, it was Bousman who found his footing as a filmmaker with the second, third, and fourth installments in the popular horror film series.

Just recently, Jason Blum talked about how he was done making “Paranormal Activity” films after the most recent sequel was so badly received. Saw horror franchise is allegedly threatening to murder LGBTQ people in five European cities.So-called Knife International was purportedly behind a website, “Saw Against LGBT,” which featured the character Jigsaw from the Saw films and listed the names of prominent LGBTQ activists in Russia.The website offered access to names and information of potential victims, and offered rewards to users for hunting down LGBTQ people and doing “anything but kill” to their prey.However, LGBTQ rights activist Yelena Grigoryeva was murdered in St Petersburg in July last year just days after she shared information about the website and noted that her name was listed on it.Read more: Russian LGBTQ activist Yelena Grigoryeva found stabbed and strangled in St.

Lionsgate has joined the parade of releases pulled from theatrical release due to the coronavirus pandemic, pulling the Chris Rock-Samuel L. Jackson “Saw” reboot, Janelle Monae’s “Antebellum” and Sarah Paulson’s “Run.”

Lionsgate has just shared a new poster for the upcoming Saw spin-off, Spiral: From The Book Of Saw, which lands in cinemas in May. The film stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols and Samuel L. Jackson in a new installment in the popular horror series. Darren Lyn Bousman returns to direct.
