Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo could make a stunning return to Real Madrid this summer window. The recently-crowned La Liga champions are reportedly hopeful of bringing their all-time top goal-scorer back to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to the Mirror.Ronaldo, 37, has enjoyed another high-scoring campaign at Old Trafford following his £12.85 million move from Juventus last summer, netting 23 goals in all competitions.

But it is thought that influential key figures in Madrid believe bringing Ronaldo back to Spain would bolster the side’s attacking options next season. The superstar penned a two-year deal with United, while there is an option of another year if both parties are satisfied.
