With Erik ten Hag arriving as the club’s new manager, the 52-year-old will be tasked with putting together a squad to improve on what has been a dismal season at Old Trafford.
While we already know some of the players leaving United this summer, Ronaldo’s fate remains a mystery. The Portuguese ace still has a year remaining on his deal, but with United set to be without Champions League football next season, doubts have been raised over whether he will stay.
Ronaldo looked to have dropped a hint over his future after Monday’s final home game of the campaign, but the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has denied saying ‘I’m not finished’ following the win over Brentford.
