Raul Jimenez ends Man Utd transfer speculation as he signs new Wolves contract

Raul Jimenez wants to “make history” with Wolves after ending speculation about his future, by signing a new four-year-deal with the club.

Manchester United and Juventus had both been linked with the Mexican international, who has enjoyed two prolific seasons at Molineux.

Initially signed on loan from Benfica in 2018, Jimenez has netted 46 goals in just 103 appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo.

He’s started this season in fine form as well, scoring twice in the opening three Premier League games of the season. That form had attracted some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with the 29-year-old admitting the interest was “flattering”.
