A witness appeal has been issued after two people were killed after they were hit by a driver in a speeding BMW in south Manchester.
The incident, which at the time resulted in the death of a 71-year-old woman and left another man, then aged 64, hospitalised in a critical condition, is still being investigated.

The driver continued down the road before becoming involved in a collision with two pedestrians at the junction with Kingsway (A34).
