Champions League next season because it's 'boring' according to Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Scotland will have two places in the Champions League next season after clinching a spot in the top 15 of UEFA's coefficient rankings.

They will also have one club in the Europa League and two clubs in the new Europa Conference League. The winners of the Premiership - likely to be Rangers - will enter from the third qualifying round and the second placed team will enter from the second qualifying round.

Last season, UEFA organised the two major tournaments to be played in one-off matches from the quarter-finals onwards in one country - Portugal for the Champions League and Germany for the Europa League.
