Greggs is a British staple that was first founded by John Gregg 75 years ago.There are more than 1,700 of its bakery outlets in the UK including on high-streets, train stations and airports.But these particular eateries really stand out from the crowd.Bury St Edmund’s Abbeygate Street branch is often described as the “poshest Greggs in the UK”.Its stunning exteriors wouldn’t look out of place on the set of Harry Potter, which is probably why it’s been described as the “Greggernaut” or “Ye Olde Gregges” over the years.On TripAdvisor, a visitor described the outlet as “the most stylish Greggs (they’d) ever seen”.Another described the shop as a “lovely old building” with “romantic charms”, which are words you wouldn’t often use to describe.
