Public sunbathing is not allowed during the coronavirus lockdown, the Health Secretary has warned as people continue to ignore social distancing rules.
Temperatures in Manchester are forecast to hit 19C on Sunday as the UK's second weekend in lockdown is predicted to be the warmest in six months.
Matt Hancock told Sky's Sophy Ridge On Sunday 'Sunbathing is against the rules that have been set out for important public health reasons' and warned rulebreakers: "You are putting others' lives at risk and you are putting yourself in harm's way." Access to parks and tourist spots across Greater Manchester and the UK has been restricted after visitors flouted social distancing advice.
