Prince Andrew sat down with BBC Newsnight's Emily Maitlis and addressed his controversial friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.In the interview, which has been widely dubbed a "car crash", the Duke of York claimed he had "no recollection of ever meeting" Virginia Roberts.Roberts, now Giuffre, who claimed she had sex with the Prince three times, an accusation the Prince has repeatedly denied.He also said he "let the side down" by staying with Epstein in New York in 2010, after Epstein was released from prison for sex offences.
