Queen Elizabeth's beloved dog Candy died just months before her. The British monarch passed away aged 96 on September 8, and it's been revealed that she suffered a heartbreaking loss when her Dachshund Corgi cross (Dorgi) passed away this summer at Balmoral in the Scottish Highlands - where the queen died - aged 18. According to the Daily Mail, the "distraught" queen had Candy's remains flown to London to be buried in Windsor.

Prince William is assuring well-wishers that Queen Elizabeth’s beloved corgis will “be looked after very well.”

In good hands. Prince William assured a child that Queen Elizabeth II‘s dogs are being taken care of after her death earlier this month at age 96.

Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren made history as they held the first vigil by the grandchildren of a late monarch on Saturday evening (17. 09. 22).

On Friday the Queen's children vigil beside her coffin in emotional scenes at Westminster Hall where she is Lying-In-State. King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward came together on Friday 16 September, to pay tribute to their late mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Other members of the Royal Family we also seen in attendance, including Zara and Mike Tindall and their daughters, Princess Beatrice, the Queen Consort Camilla, the Countess of Wessex and Sophie Winkleman.

All for Grannie. As Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren held a special vigil ahead of her state funeral, Prince Harry was able to wear his military dress uniform despite initial back-and-forth rulings.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie paid a loving tribute Saturday to their «grannie» Queen Elizabeth II, who died on Sept. 8. Prince Andrew’s future in the monarchy has been a question many have asked in recent days. The Duke of York, 62, was previously stripped of his titles and took a step back from Royal duties over recent years, due to his links with Jeffrey Epstein. King Charles III and William, the Prince of Wales have surprised mourners queuing to see the Queen Lying-in-State in Westminster Hall as they greeted them. Members of the public have been queuing for up to 24 hours to pay their respects to the late Monarch who passed away aged 96 on Thursday, 8 September. King Charles, 73, and Prince William, 40, shook hands with well-wishers queuing at Albert Embankment near Lambeth Palace and spent time chatting to them.

Princes William and Harry will stage a coffin vigil for the late Queen tonight at 7.30pm for 15 minutes.

Police have arrested a man who broke away from the queue of mourners in Westminster Hall, and ran towards Queen Elizabeth’s coffin, where he pulled at the flag.
