Bargain lovers have been left devastated after Poundland told shoppers they will be closing the doors of a number of stores at the end of this week.
Due to the third national lockdown, 44 branches of the budget retailer will shut temporarily on Sunday.The news comes after the store reported an 80% decrease in footfall since the coronavirus pandemic began.

Meanwhile, the remaining Poundland stores will be open for "essential business". Of course, shoppers will be asked to wear their legally required face covering.
