BREAKING Police launch investigation as 'shot fired' at Rochdale home

Two men have been arrested after a gunshot was reportedly fired at a Rochdale home. At around 9.25pm on Wednesday (March 16), police received a report that a shot had been fired at a window of a property on Clement Royds Street.

Greater Manchester Police says enquiries have established that at around 9.15pm, a male passenger got out of a car and shot at the window.

He then got back into the car before it pulled away. Two men, aged 22 and 28, have been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and remain in police custody for questioning.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is being urged to come forward. "I appeal to anyone with information, particularly about the whereabouts of the car, to contact us or Crimestoppers.
