Two women who received £200 fines after travelling to a reservoir for a walk around five miles from their homes have had them rescinded, police have confirmed.
Best friends Jessica Allen and her friend Eliza Moore were flanked by officers as they drove into the entrance of Foremark Reservoir in South Derbyshire on Wednesday.
On seeing the swarm of police in the car park, they thought somebody had been murdered but they were approached by officers and issued with fines.
